The Restoration Trust Accepts a Conservation Easement Over the SoCo Airport Conservation Lands

The Restoration Trust recently finalized a deal with Sonoma County accepting a conservation easement over the SoCo Airport conservation site. The site is located in Sonoma County and contains high quality natural, restored and/or enhanced habitat for Burke’s golfields (Lasthenia burkei). As well, the site contains seasonal wetlands, stands of valley oak (Quercus lobata) trees, grasslands, and riparian woodlands.

The Trust is pleased to be a part of the effort to preserve and protect this land.
