Shin Kee Marsh

The Shin Kee Marsh, located on the eastern edge of the California Delta, was restored to native wetland, riparian, and upland habitats by A.G. Spanos Companies in 2008. The site provides a continuing outdoor laboratory for students and community restoration efforts. Over the past several years, the Restoration Trust has worked with Kohl Elementary students to remove non-native species and trash, plant over 3,000 native trees, shrubs and grasses, and monitor vegetation plots.
